Description: Lieutenant Allan was shot after responding to a vehicle crash. As Lieutenant Allan approached the vehicle, one of the occupants opened fire striking Lieutenant Allan multiple times. Officers at the scene returned fire and struck one of the suspects. Both occupants of the crashed vehicle were taken into custody. Lieutenant Allan was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
