Description: Trooper Allen was fatally shot while conducting a traffic stop in Freestone County, Texas. Trooper Allen made contact with the driver and was returning to his patrol car when the driver exited the car and shot Trooper Allen with a rifle. Trooper Allen died at the scene. The suspect was later taken into custody.
