Description: On September 1, 2016, Senior Police Officer Abdul-Khaliq was injured in a motorcycle crash while escorting a funeral procession. A vehicle made a left turn through the procession in front of Officer Abdul-Khaliq, causing him to strike the vehicle. Officer Abdul-Khaliq was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
