Description: Police Officer Alia was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a suspect. Officer Alia responded to a suspicious person call at the local shopping mall. Officer Alia and other responding officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect ran off and Officer Alia engaged in a foot pursuit. Officer Alia made contact with the suspect and a physical struggle ensued. During the struggle, the suspect produced a handgun and shot Officer Alia in the head. The suspect was apprehended by other officers. Officer Alia died at the scene.
