Description: Chief of Police Allen died from a gunshot wound sustained ten days prior. Chief Allen was providing security for a nightclub with another officer. Chief Allen approached an individual he believed to be selling/distributing drugs. While engaged with the suspect, the suspect pulled a handgun and shot Chief Allen. Chief Allen was transported to the hospital where he remained in a coma until his death on November 10, 2015. The suspect was charged with murder.
