Description: Agent Amaro-Fantauzzi succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained one week earlier during a narcotics investigation. Agent Amaro-Fantauzzi and several agents were conducting the investigation at a public housing complex when a suspect opened fire. Agent Amaro-Fantauzzi and another Agent were wounded during the investigation. Agent Amaro-Fantauzzi died from his injuries one week later. The other Agent received non-life-threatening injuries.
