Description: Patrol Officer Arkell was shot and killed when he responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence. Officer Arkell was fatally shot after he entered the residence where a father and son were fighting. The mentally deranged son then set fire to the home and died in the propane explosion. The father of the suspect survived the incident.
