Description: Police Officer Artzt was shot as he attempted to arrest a burglary suspect. Officer Artzt caught the suspect in the act of stealing a coat from an automobile. The suspect ran with Officer Artzt in pursuit. The suspect shot Officer Artzt in the abdomen. Officer Artzt died of his injuries the next day. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
