Description: Officer Arnold responded (on Foot) to citizens request of intoxicated man in an auto with the engine racing. Officer Arnold took suspect in custody but needed someone to drive the auto to the station. A citizen in crowd volunteered to drive Officer Arnold and suspect to station. As citizen started car, the engine was still racing and the car shot forward and crashed into a wall. The driver was able to jump out, but Officer Arnold suffered a fractured skull, internal injuries and died the next day.
