Description: Deputy Anderson and his partner, Deputy Kevin Friebe, were responding to an emergency call from a group home regarding a troubled youth when they were involved in a fatal car accident. While responding, in the rain, the officers lost control of their cruiser and slid into a minivan. Deputy Anderson was in the passenger's seat and pronounced dead at the scene. Deputy Friebe was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The rain and wet road conditions were contributing factors in this accident.
