Description: Sergeant Adams was shot three times after responding to a man with a gun call at a bar. When Sergeant Adams asked the man to step outside to talk, a struggle ensued and the suspect shot Sergeant Adams. Sergeant Adams returned fire, fatally wounding the suspect. Sergeant Adams was transported to the hospital where he died.
