Description: Special Agent Artz was shot when he arrested four men for vagrancy near the Rock Island railroad tracks in Wichita, KS. As Agent Artz escorted the suspects into custody, three men not associated with the vagrants approached Agent Artz and shot him in the head. Agent Artz died at the scene.
