Description: Deputy Sheriff Aguirre was patrolling at a dance when two brothers created a false disturbance to lure him outside. Deputy Aguirre was beaten with a fence post and died several hours later of a fractured skull. Deputy Aguirre had arrested the brothers for cattle rustling one year prior. Both suspects were convicted of first degree murder.
