Description: Sergeant Aguilar was fatally shot while attempting to apprehend robbery suspects. Sergeant Aguilar was on patrol when he came upon the armed robbery of a money courier. The suspects escaped by car with Sergeant Aguilar in pursuit. He was fired upon by the fleeing suspect and one of the bullets went through the left door of the patrol car, killing Sergeant Aguilar. Of the five suspects, Sergeant Aguilar's assailant committed suicide, a 14 year old juvenile was sentenced to 11 years and the other three suspects were brought to trial.
