Description: Deputy Altman was shot and killed after responding to a disturbance at the Jackson County Sheriff's residence. The Sheriff's wife called and reported two suspicious suspects on the property. When Deputy Altman arrived on the scene, he found the Sheriff's wife dead and three armed suspects waiting for him. Deputy Altman was shot several times by the suspects who had a premeditated plan to kill the Sheriff and his wife. (Revenge killing)
