Description: Detention Officer Adcock experienced a fatal heart attack while participating in a department-sanctioned defense tactic training exercise at the DeKalb Technical College Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Adcock completed a 2 mile run prior to beginning baton exercises. Officer Adcock was attempting to subdue a suspect resisting arrest in a mock scenario when he passed out. Officer Adcock was transported to the hospital where he died.
