Description: At 11:00 p.m. Deputy Ashe responded to a call where fellow officers were engaged in a high-speed pursuit. Moments after ending his participation in the three county vehicle chase, Deputy Ashe died of a heart attack and was found on the side of the road by Sheriff Jim Cruzan and emergency workers at 12:15 a.m.
