Description: Lieutenant Alexander was struck and killed by a suspect fleeing the scene of a crime. Lieutenant Alexander was placing spike sticks on the road when the suspect, who had just assaulted another officer at a disturbance call, struck him with his vehicle. Lieutenant Alexander was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
