Description: Patrolman Abrams was shot as he attempting to arrest a man who was causing a disturbance at a club. The suspect produced a .22 caliber revolver and shot Patrolman Abrams in the chest. The suspect was committed to a mental hospital and was released after spending 12 years in the facility.
