Description: Sergeant Alexander was shot and killed while responding to a burglary in progress. Sergeant Alexander was the closest officer to the location of the reported home invasion and responded to the scene. Three suspects were hidden inside the home and opened fire as Sergeant Alexander conducted his search. Sergeant Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspects were later apprehended.
