Description: Officer Ahola responded to a domestic violence call and was subsequently shot in the neck by the suspect. The gunshot rendered him a quadriplegic until his death. The Sonoma County Coroner's Office ruled his death was the result of "complications of quadriplegia due to gunshot wound to the neck."
