Description: Inspectors Allison and Horace Roberson were seated in the lobby of a hotel when two men burst through the door and began shooting. Inspector Roberson died from a shotgun blast to the chest. Inspector Allison also died in the attack. The Inspectors were about to testify before a grand jury regarding the two men in relation to cattle theft. Both suspects were convicted of murder and received 55 and 51 year sentences.
