Description: Police Officer Boyer was shot and killed when he and two other officers responded to the scene of a traffic crash. A recently paroled suspect was driving a stolen vehicle and opened fire on Officer Boyer as he approached the vehicle. A second officer was also wounded in the incident but survived. The suspect was subsequently arrested.
