Description: Deputy Sheriff Butler was killed in an automobile crash while responding to a domestic battery call. The lights and sirens of the patrol car were activated when the front of a semi-truck crossed the center line into the path of the patrol car and crashed. The patrol car burst into flames. The driver of the semi-truck pulled Deputy Butler out of the burning patrol car. Deputy Butler was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
