Description: Deputy Correctional Officer Brewer suffered a medical emergency and was found unresponsive in a chair in the booking area of the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Officer Brewer was involved in several incidences during his shift that included the use of pepper spray as well as the use of force to subdue a noncompliant inmate. Officer Brewer was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.
