Description: Officer Barcena was shot and killed after he and his partner responded to a call involving an intoxicated man who was breaking into a home. When the suspect refused to drop his weapon, Officer Barcena fired his Taser stun gun at the armed suspect. The suspect returned fire and shot Officer Barcena twice in the thigh, severing an artery. Officer Barcena bled to death while en route to the hospital.
