Description: Trooper II Bowen was killed in an automobile crash while responding to assist a fellow officer. Trooper Bowen??®s emergency lights and siren were activated when his patrol vehicle collided with a car that was attempting to turn at an intersection. The impact caused Trooper Bowen??®s vehicle to be forced off the roadway where the vehicle struck a traffic light pole and split in half. Trooper Bowen died at the scene.
