Description: Lieutenant Burris collapsed and died of a heart attack during a gun battle with three suspects. Lieutenant Burris and his fellow officers answered an emergency burglary call at a residence. The burglars fired a volley of shots at Lieutenant Burris as he ran up the driveway. Lieutenant Burris collapsed of a heart attack and died at the scene.
