Description: Officer Byrd was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Another officer, responding to the same call, collided with Officer Byrd?s patrol car at the intersection of Parksley and Stafford Streets. Officer Byrd's patrol vehicle then struck a utility pole, killing him instantly. Officer Raymond Cook was injured in the incident. Friendly action.
