Description: Jailer Bagwell was stabbed by an inmate at the Greenville county jail. The inmate pretended to be sick and called for assistance. When Jailer Bagwell arrived with two other guards, the inmate stabbed him with an improvised weapon. Jailer Bagwell was transported to the hospital where he died several hours later. The inmate was convicted of the murder and sentenced to life in prison.
