Description: Sergeant Bertram was killed in a single vehicle crash during an attempted traffic stop of a stolen vehicle. The suspect refused to stop and a vehicular pursuit ensued. The patrol car left the roadway and struck a tree. Sergeant Bertram was pronounced dead at the scene.
