Description: Officer Bean and Hogge had stopped suspect's car for a traffic violation. Suspect stopped briefly, but then pulled off. Officers pursued suspect and pulled vehicle over. As the officers exited their unit, shots were fired. Officer Bean was shot while Officer Hogge returned fire and pursued suspect on foot. Officer Bean died later that evening at a local hospital.
