Description: Staff Sergeant Bonacasa was killed by a suicide bomber while on patrol. Staff Sergeant Bonacasa, Technical Sergeant Lemm, and Air Force OSI Special Agents McBride, Vorderbruggen, Cinco, and Taub were on foot to facilitate interviews and investigative activity within Bajawri village as part of a task force when a suicide bomber rode a motorcycle through their formation and detonated explosives. All six members were killed. Two other servicemen and a civilian contractor were also injured.
