Description: On November 11, 2006, Deputy Sheriff Bowlin was struck by a vehicle as he crossed the median to investigate an automobile crash that was blocking the roadway. The vehicle swerved to avoid a collision and struck Deputy Bowlin. Deputy Bowlin died of complications relating to his initial injuries on October 31, 2016.
