Description: Officer Bretz died in a single vehicle crash when his department vehicle skidded on a curve and struck a utility pole. Officer Bretz had completed alcohol beverage permit inspections in Warrick county and was on his way home at the end of his shift when the incident occurred. Officer Bretz was pronounced dead at the scene.
