Description: Deputy Sheriff Brewer was injured in a motorcycle crash while westbound on New Castle Road Highway. A touring car turned left in front of his patrol motorcycle and Deputy Brewer struck the front of the car. Deputy Brewer was transported to the hospital where he died. The driver was charged with manslaughter but the charges were later dismissed.
