Description: Police Officer Brockmeyer was injured in a single-vehicle crash while in pursuit of a driver who failed to pull over during a traffic stop. Officer Brockmeyer's patrol vehicle overturned and he was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated from the vehicle. Officer Brockmeyer was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect was apprehended and later charged.
