Description: Constable Barker and Officer George Frazier were attempting to take a fugitive into custody when a gun fight ensued. Constable Barker was shot five times and died as a result of his injuries at the scene. Patrolman Frazier was shot in the face and abdomen, died of a fatal heart attack while being treated for his injuries in the hospital. The suspect was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
