Description: City Marshal Bryant was ambushed and shot three times in the back of the head as he sat in the telegraph office eating his lunch. The suspect, a 16 year old juvenile, had been arrested by Marshal Bryant two days prior for public impairment. The suspect committed suicide by drinking morphine.
