Description: Sergeant Buckles collapsed while participating in an active shooter training exercise involving multiple agencies. Sergeant Buckles was acting as a responding officer searching a school building for the shooter. As he located and confronted the active shooter, Sergeant Buckles collapsed. Sergeant Buckles was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead from a fatal heart attack.
