Description: Deputies Bunch and Odum had gone to a local residence armed with a warrant to look for bootleg whiskey and moonshine. After serving warrant, Deputy Bunch found some whiskey. Suspect took his rifle and shot Deputy Bunch in the neck. Deputy Odum returned fire, but suspect escaped. Suspect turned himself in the next day. Deputy Bunch died at the scene.
