Description: Police Officer Birmingham was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting in an act of retaliation. Officer Birmingham had shot and killed two brothers of the suspect in two separate incidents that year. Officer Birmingham was transported to the hospital where he died the next day. His assailant was arrested and charged with murder.
