Description: Sheriff Bright and a posse of six deputies went to serve a warrant at the home of an escaped prisoner who had murdered two men. When Sheriff Bright arrived at the scene the suspect was hiding in his home and refused to come out. Sheriff Bright was shot fatally in the head and one of his deputies were wounded when he entered the suspects residence.
