Description: Trooper Better was on motorcycle patrol when he was hit head on by an automobile. The operator of the auto told investigators that he had to swerve his car into the southbound lane because the vehicle ahead of him slowed suddenly. Trooper Better died from his injuries a short time later at the hospital.
