Description: Corporal Detective Brown was shot and killed after attempting to arrest a suspect at the scene of a disturbance call. Corporal Brown and several other deputies responded to a call of shots fired on West Main Street. After locating the suspect, responding officers ordered the suspect to drop his weapon. Corporal Brown was shot when the suspect opened fire. The suspect was shot and killed by law enforcement officers. Corporal Brown was transported to the local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
