Description: Patrolman Buckley was shot as he and Officer Larry Wallace attempted to arrest a suspect. The officers answered a domestic disturbance call where the suspect had put his wife out of the house. The suspect took his 8 month old baby and fled the residence in an automobile with Officers Buckley and Wallace in pursuit. The suspect stopped the vehicle and emerged bearing a 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun. The suspect shot Patrolman Buckley through the window. Patrolman Buckley died at the scene. Officer Wallace returned fire, killing the suspect.
