Description: Deputy Marshal Brown was shot while investigating two suspicious individuals. As Deputy Brown was running a warrant check, one of the suspects gained control of the officer?s service revolver and shot Deputy Brown six times with his own gun. Deputy Brown died at the scene, still seated in his patrol car. His assailant was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
