Description: Deputy Bond was shot and killed while investigating suspicious activity at a produce store. Fellow officers searched for Deputy Bond after he did not respond to the repeated radio request. Deputy Bond's body was located lying in the parking lot beside the produce stand, he had been shot several times with an AK-47 assault rifle. Witnesses reported that a suspect fleeing the scene had stolen Deputy Bond's service weapon and part of the front panel of his bullet proof vest.
