Description: Automobile accident. Officer Bertram and his partner were responding to a break in call with their emergency equipment activated. While they were en route, they were involved in an accident with another vehicle carrying two soldiers stationed at Fort Knox. Officer Bertram remained in a semi-conscious state for nearly five years before his death.
