Description: Police Officer Beaugez was abducted and then fatally shot when he attempted to question a suspicious suspect. The suspect stole Officer Beaugez's clothes and car and fled the scene. The suspect, who was on parole, was convicted of murder and sentenced to death. While awaiting execution, the suspect fatally beat Jailer J.C. Landrum when he escaped from prison but was recaptured. The suspect was executed via the gas chamber.
